Paid Time Off

E4E Relief provides each regular, full-time and regular part-time employees who work 1,000 hours or more per year, paid time off for Holidays, Special Leave, Personal Leave, Vacation, and more. These hours are categorized into individual time off buckets.

Special Leave

E4E Relief provides paid time off for employees to use throughout the year for minor personal illness, dependent care, bereavement, doctor visits, dentist appointments, and special religious/ethnic holidays not recognized by the Company. On January 1st, employees are granted 10 days, equivalent to 80 hours, of Special Leave.

Personal Leave

On January 1st, employees are granted 16 hours of Personal time. In addition, non-exempt employees will receive an additional 16 hours of Personal time. These hours may be used for personal business that cannot be accomplished during regular, non-working hours. These hours can also be utilized as additional self-wellness days.

Floating Holiday

Employees will receive one (1) Floating Holiday and can be used for various reasons of the employees’ own choosing. The Floating Holiday is paid time off to observe a holiday or event, such as a religious holiday that is not scheduled by E4E Relief.

Parental Leave​

Employees who meet the eligibility requirements of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) are eligible to receive a maximum amount of 6 work weeks of paid parental leave during their FMLA-approved leave for the birth of a child of the employee, or to care for a newborn child or a child placed with the employee for adoption or foster care (within twelve months of the birth or placement). Requests for time off in accordance with this policy must be approved by and coordinated with the Human Resources Department and your immediate supervisor.

Vacation​

Paid vacation time off is intended to provide employees the opportunity to spend discretionary time away from work. All employees whose regular work schedule is 1,000 hours or greater per year are eligible for vacation benefits. The amount of vacation time available to each employee grows with years of service. Vacation is accrued from the start of employment at a set rate per pay period based on the following schedule:

Employee Perks

Matching Gift Program

E4E Relief will match on a dollar-for-dollar basis eligible employee’s gifts of $25 or more to a qualified charitable organization. The maximum matched for any one employee per year is $5,000.

Donor Advised Fund

Eligible employees may establish a Donor Advised Fund through E4E with a minimum gift of $1,000. While an active employee, there will be no minimum balance to maintain or fees to administer the fund. This provision remains in place for employees with five (5) years of service or more upon their separation.

Parking/Transportation

E4E provides parking for all regular full-time employees in a designated parking garage/lot. In lieu of a parking space, E4E will pay for an employee’s bus or light rail pass.

Fitness Device Subsidy Program

Wearable fitness devices are great tools to help bring awareness to your level of physical activity and keep you accountable to your fitness goals. Employees are able to purchase a wearable fitness device of their choice and be reimbursed $20 by E4E. Please present receipt for the current plan year (1/1/2026 – 12/31/2026).

Financial Hardship Program

The Hardship Program was created to support employees affected by various personal hardship events. This program provides cash assistance to eligible employees who are experiencing financial hardship due to unexpected events or unforeseen changes that impact the employee’s ability to provide basic necessities.

On Demand Payments – Extension to Financial Hardship

Allows employees to take cash advancements from upcoming pay cycles based on hours worked and E4E Relief parameters for emergencies or unforeseen hardships. Please note: timecard entries are required for non-exempt employees only.

E4E Relief Financial Legacy Program

Our E4E Relief Financial Legacy Program or Legacy for short is a company paid benefit that provides employees and their family members with tools and resources to help better manage finances through an online educational training comprised of 8 self-paced learning courses on topics such as budgeting, saving, investing strategies and more.

While it is easy to feel like money controls us instead of the other way around, the new Legacy program offers a solution that is based on tried-and-true strategies which make taking control of your finances easier than one might think by helping match your money to your values and your finances to your life goals. Udemy is a learning portal that provides courses for professional development on-demand. Employees can take departmental and compliance courses as well as courses in ChatGPT, Data Science, Leadership, Web Development, Communication and Business Analytics & Intelligence.
